We invite lovers of unique flavor combinations on a unique culinary journey! It is a great honor for us to welcome Nakano Shotaro, the master of the century-old, world-famous Dewazakura brewery in our restaurant on 16th July, who won a trophy at this year’s IWC in London with his sparkling sake and his wife, Akari Nakano, the daughter of the owner of the brewery. Together with our guest of honor, we put together a special 4-course menu, in which we serve the unique sake of Dewazakura alongside the typical food creations of Downtown. Nakano Shotaro will enrich the informal dinner with exciting stories.
  • Smoked trout, tosazu gelee, seaweed salad

    Dewazakura Oka Ginjo
    Soft to the touch on the tongue. The transparency of the taste of Oka is the same as the purity of the colorless drink. More floral than fruity, although some pear and melon are present.

  • Summer squash, dill, galanga, turmeric, mangalica ragout

    Dewazakura Dewasansan Junmai Ginjo
    With its floral aroma and soft fruity taste, "Dewasansan" is also an excellent choice for wine drinkers new to the world of sake. It has a healthy freshness, green apple tartness and a refreshing aftertaste.

  • Hungarian Angus chuck steak, kizami wasabi, truffle potato

    Dewazakura Yukimanman 5y Daiginjo
    Aged for five years, this daiginjo sake represents the Japanese aesthetic of elegant simplicity. At the first bottling, it has a lively fruitiness, but during maturation, subdued nuances of pomegranate and persimmon are revealed.

  • Chocolate, tonka bean, passion fruit, mango

    Dewazakura Tobiroku Sparkling
    Tobiroku is a sparkling sake that, like champagne, is produced by secondary fermentation in the bottle. Fresh, dry and invigorating - a lively companion for any occasion.
