Tasting menu
From Tuesday to Saturday, in the evenings, we await our guests with a seasonally changing tasting menu. When creating the dishes, our Executive Chef, Márk Molnár uses the achievements of modern kitchen technology and locally grown fresh ingredients. Everything from meats originated from domestic, sustainable farms to hand-pressed vegetable oils to spring water from the nearby mountains is of exceptional quality. The dishes are inspired by various techniques of Asian cuisine, such as foods marinated in miso or fermented with koji, which are not only special because of their delicious taste, but also because of their healthy properties. In addition to the traditional menu-wine pairings common in fine dining restaurants, our tasting menu can be paired with our own selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails created by our head barman.

Our wine philosophy at Costes Downtown is to serve some of the most exceptional locally produced wines to our guests. We like to support smaller or family-owned businesses that share our passion for excellence. Sustainability and protecting the environment also play an important role when choosing our wines; therefore, we make sure we work with winemakers who truly respect their land. We also carry some of the most iconic and beloved wines from all over the world that we select just as carefully as our Hungarian wines.

At Costes Downtown, in addition to using locally grown, fresh ingredients, we place great emphasis on creating an exceptional, innovative culinary experience. This experience is made truly unforgettable by our dishes inspired by the techniques of international, mainly Asian cuisine. Specialties such as Foie Gras marinated in Japanese miso, grilled over Japanese Robata charcoal or koji fermented Kapia red peppers.
